STATION HISTORY

Year

What Happened

EARLY

Our founder is born in New Jersey and promptly relocated to Istanbul, giving the network its international bureau decades ahead of schedule.

COLLEGE

Returns to New Jersey to attend Rutgers. PBS's long tradition of having opinions about New Jersey begins.

TYT

Takes a job at The Young Turks, a news network run by his uncle, Cenk Uygur. Hosts The Breakdown. Nepotism allegations are addressed on-air, by him, constantly.

2018

Discovers that Twitch will let a man talk for as long as he likes. Test broadcasts begin.

2020

Leaves TYT to broadcast full time. Covers election week for so many hours and so many viewers that it becomes one of the biggest broadcasts on Twitch.

TODAY

On the air most days, for most of the day, from Los Angeles. The program has not technically ended since.

ABOUT OUR LOGO

The famous PBS "P-Head" looks thoughtfully to the left, which management feels is appropriate.
